Position Description:

POEM Rise

POEM Rise is looking for Child Watch Helpers.

Child Watch Helpers provide warm and engaging child watch support for children (age infant to pre-teen) of our parents attending POEM Rise support group. This position serves every 2nd and 4th Saturday (except holidays) from 11am-1pm at Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA, 130 Woodland Ave, Columbus, OH 43203. Childcare activities and supplies are already provided in a secure child watch room. Stipend available.

Qualifications:

We are looking for persons who are:

– Age 18 or over.

  • Have at least one year of experience working with children
  • able to pass BCI/FBI Background check or provide a copy of
    BCI/FBI Background check completed within the last year.
  • Commit to 6+ months of service.
