CENTRAL OHIO CHILD CARE PROVIDER SURVEY REPORT
Child care is an essential infrastructure, without which our economy cannot grow or thrive. Action for Children’s findings from the 2024 Central Ohio Child Care Provider Survey are a testament to the unwavering dedication of child care professionals, while also laying bare the continuing difficulties that threaten this sector. Action for Children urges government, corporate, and philanthropic leaders to dig into addressing the care crisis, focusing on the needs of the child care professionals and families closest to the challenges.
The findings of this report illustrate the need for sustained, significant investment in early childhood programs and professionals; help for families to afford child care; and support for early care and education (ECE) programs to achieve their quality goals. An additional focus on new programs in the region, Step Up To Quality, and PFCC provides new insight into the day-to-day operations and long-term growth of the child care sector.
Action for Children will be hosting a webinar for stakeholders and media on December 17th at 2:00pm with read-out of report and time for Q&A and media questions. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance at registration.
