Assistance with Child Care Costs

Whether you’re a parent interested in getting back to work, or hoping to enter the workforce, Action for Children is here to help you in your search for dependable, affordable child care. We are offering child care scholarships* of up to $9,000 each for children ages birth to kindergarten attending a licensed Franklin County child care program to:

  1. Assist with child care tuition
  2. Help you support your child's growth and learning
  3. Strengthen the Franklin County community

*Applications must be completed with the licensed child care provider of your choice.

Completing the Scholarship Attendance/Enrollment Confirmation Form

A completed Scholarship Attendance/Enrollment Confirmation Form is now required for scholarship applicants starting December 1, 2024. This form includes an attendance section followed by an enrollment section (both completed by the child care program) and ends with an enrollment section to be completed by the primary caregiver.
