A Child Development Associate (CDA) is a national credential for educators working with children birth through five and their families. Earning a CDA demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities in the early childhood education field. Action for Children offers a highly respected program to both center- and home-based early childhood educators, which prepares child care professionals to apply to The Council for Professional Recognition and earn their CDA credential.
