Technical Assistance Coach – Child and Adult Care Food Program

Position Description:

What You’ll Do
Drawing on your knowledge of early childhood care and education, you will provide education and technical assistance to family child care providers participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Coaches provide ongoing in-home monitoring and yearly nutritional trainings. Coaches also provide linkage to professional development opportunities, along with coaching and technical assistance to support their efforts to achieve and maintain quality standards.
This is a part-time position, requiring travel within Central Ohio and occasional evening/weekend hours. CACFP participants with Action for Children’s CACFP program are located within 12 Ohio Counties. This position is currently responsible for participants in Franklin, Delaware, Morrow, Marion, Crawford, Richland, Allen and Licking counties but travel may be required to Union, Madison, Pickaway, and Fairfield counties. This is a hybrid position, with occasional in office work and regular travel to Family Child Care home programs in the counties above.
