    North Broadway Children’s Center is hiring for multiple positions!

    North Broadway Children’s Center is looking for experienced and qualified teachers to join our center! NBCC is a Gold Rated, Step Up To Quality center. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience working in a child care setting.

    NBCC is hiring for Infant and Toddler Teachers for the hours of 8:30-5, 10-6, and 2-6.

    NBCC is offering quarterly bonuses to full-time classroom teachers.

    NBCC Teachers are responsible for the care and education of a group of children as a part of a teaching team. The teacher, with the active participation of other members of the teaching team, plans and implements the curriculum, works with parents and assesses the needs of individual children.

    Required Job Skills:

    Use positive guidance strategies to support children
    Develop weekly lesson plans based on interests and needs of the children
    Complete quarterly child assessments using Teaching Strategies Gold
    Conduct daily observations
    Provide a play based learning environment
    Ensure a safe and organized classroom space
    Promote student engagement and independent learning
    Maintain state licensing rules and Step Up to Quality guidelines
    Ensure all child paperwork is up to date and complete
    Work cooperatively with teaching team to maintain NBCC standards
    Build positive relationships with families, maintaining open communications regarding child progress, behavior, and any concerns or updates
    Prepares and serves snacks, following CACFP guidelines
    Participates in NBCC events
    Complete at least 10 hours of professional development yearly

  • LEAD TEACHER

    Parkers Learning Center

    Work with the Administrator/Director to implement curriculum within established guidelines
    • Design and implement daily lesson/activity plans
    • Supervise the children, classroom, and all activities
    • Conduct parent conferences and maintain communication with parents
    • Maintain program site and equipment
    • Provide work direction to staff while on duty and assist in staff training
    • Assist with yearly staff evaluations and with interviewing applicants for staff positions within the childcare program

    The Ohio State University

    This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming a regular position after 1 year employment. The School Aide assists in supervising children and integrating daily and long-term planning for classrooms in collaboration with Teachers and Administrators in the Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park. The School Aide assists with operation tasks in an early childhood school. The incumbent ensures social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met within the framework of the school’s philosophy. The School Aide assists in problem solving with teaching teams and administrators to address school or child needs. The incumbent works in a flexible, collaborative, and research-based environment with hours being 8-5 or 8:30-5:30 daily with an hour break.

    85% Ensures social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met within framework of the school’s philosophy. Assists in supervising children and integrating daily and long-term planning for classrooms in collaboration with Teachers and Administrators in the Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park;

    10% Assists with implementing, evaluating, and communicating classroom programming, research, routines, and procedures. Assists in management of classroom by completing paperwork and problem solving with team and parents to address classroom issues.

    5% Other duties as assigned
