Parent Ambassador

Position Description:

What You’ll Do

Drawing on both professional knowledge and lived experience, you will provide families with timely access to information, resources, and referrals that support their overall well-being. You will assist families in navigating social service systems, connecting them to community resources, and helping them access benefits they may be eligible for.

This role includes facilitating Parent Cafés and community listening sessions to ensure that family voices are heard and valued. You will assess family needs and use internal databases and resource directories to provide personalized support—whether in person, over the phone, or via email.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a self-starter who is creative, flexible, and known for being a team player. You bring strong skills in written and verbal communication, rapport-building, problem-solving, and analysis.

You’re committed to the success of the program and the people it serves, and you’re eager to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven team. Participation in team meetings, agency events, and community activities is expected. This is a full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend hours required to support special events.
