Action for Children would like to thank all of the child care providers, both center-based and FCC, who took the time to fill out the surveys we’ve been sending out to collect data on pandemic child care. The answers you gave us helped us put together a report for lawmakers that outlined your financial needs to continue offering care during the pandemic. This report lead the City of Columbus to dedicate $6.2 million in federal CARES Act funding to supporting child care providers. It also lead to Franklin County dedicating another $2 million of CARES Act funding.
