In remembrance of our dear friend Sue Doody, we are inviting you to contribute to her legacy of giving back to the community and the children who grow up here.

Many years before she was the owner of Lindey’s restaurant, Sue was an elementary school teacher for Columbus City Schools. She always had a passion for early childhood learning and was a longtime member of Action for Children, which is why we have created The Sue Doody Legacy Fund in her honor.

By giving to this fund, you will be directly supporting Action for Children’s efforts to coach child care providers through the process to earn a Child Development Associate Credential. This coaching program is especially critical for providers in low-income neighborhoods where many face barriers to getting a higher education. Through Action for Children, providers can earn a scholarship and free coaching services to get there – but they can’t do it without your support.

Give today to The Sue Doody Legacy Fund and ensure that our children have the best care possible, so they can thrive throughout life. Thank you for making our community a great place to grow up.

Help us honor Sue Doody by giving to Action for Children today!
