Action for Children provides a variety of services for Child Care Centers/Schools in central Ohio, serving all types of programs including part-time, full-time, for-profit, non-profit, faith-based, Head Start, and others. These services include:
- Step Up To Quality technical assistance (no cost);
- Professional Development (minimal or no cost for most classes); and
- Child Development Associate credential (CDA) (tuition, scholarships varies).
Services for Home-Based, Family Child Care Resources
Action for Children provides a variety of services for Family Child Care Providers in Central Ohio. These services include:
- Resources and trainings to help begin and then manage your child care business (no cost);
- Reimbursement through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP);
- Step Up To Quality technical assistance (no cost);
- Professional Development (most classes at minimal or no cost); and
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (tuition, scholarship varies).
