Little Treasures childcare center is seeking a qualified, dependable, and experienced Child Care Center Director/Administrator to oversee the daily operation of the center. The Director/Administrator will provide leadership to staff, maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment, communicate effectively with families, and ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY) child care licensing requirements.
The successful candidate should be organized, professional, knowledgeable about early childhood education, and capable of managing both the educational and administrative responsibilities of a child care
The candidate must:
Meet current Ohio DCY Child Care Center Administrator qualification requirements.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
Previous experience as a child care center Director, Administrator, Assistant Director, or Lead Teacher.
Experience managing a center serving approximately 50 or more children.
Knowledge of Ohio DCY licensing inspections and corrective-action processes.
Experience with OPR.
Knowledge of Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC).
Knowledge of Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) requirements and continuous quality improvement.
Experience supervising, training, and evaluating child care staff.
