Job description
Overbrook Preschool is a part time, non-profit preschool in Clintonville. We are looking for a qualified preschool teacher to join our gold rated preschool for our T/Th/F 4 year old class starting in September. Positions available include T/Th/F 8:00 – 12:00 Late August 2026 – May 2027.

Personal Qualities:

• Reliability and punctuality
• Physical ability to perform the job of teaching young children
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 12 semester hours of Early Childhood Education, or the equivalent in training and experience in a closely related field preferred
• Professional experience teaching at the preschool level
Description of Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop and maintain a program for the class
• Carry out the curriculum and assessment in cooperation with a co-teacher
• Plan a monthly calendar relating theme, objectives, art projects, literature, math and science activities emphasizing the Early Learning and Development Standards
• Conduct Parent/Teacher Conferences.
• Compile digital portfolios and student progress reports on Teaching Strategies Gold, that is aligned with Creative Curriculum Objectives and Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards, as evidence of development.
