

Through generous funding from The Columbus Foundation, Action for Children commissioned a study of child care supply and demand in Franklin County, Ohio and insights into the decision making process of parents seeking care for their children. Community Research Partners (CRP), a nonprofit research center based in Columbus, Ohio, undertook the study, with guidance and assistance from Action for Children. The research incorporated recent literature on child care choice, along with input from local parents and employers and the most current and fine-grained data on child care providers and the population initially in demand of child care services.
