Action for Children has partnered with Columbus State Community College to bring those in pursuit of their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential special professional development courses. These 10 clock-hour modules are designed to cover the curriculum recommended by The Council for Professional Recognition; the agency that awards the CDA credential. Modules are taught by Columbus State faculty or adjunct faculty, all with at least a Master's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.

For CDA Module course listings please check our Workshops and Trainings. We offered downloadable versions of our Regional Course Book as well as other course listings.

For questions concerning the CDA Modules, please contact Kristen McHarg at 614-224-0222, ext. 141 or email at kristenmcharg@actionforchildren.org.

For more information about the CDA credential itself please contact The Council for Professional Recognition at 1-800-424-4310 or visit http://www.cdacouncil.org/.

Please note: Action for Children does not award the CDA credential and is in no way affiliated with The Council for Professional Recognition.
