Action for Children (AfC) is your source for parent support and education. We have many opportunities to build parenting skills through a wide-range of programs. AfC makes available information, resources and links to guide you through the many stages and experiences you will encounter during your child’s journey from birth through the teen years. You can find information on your child's learning and development in that section. Understanding what to expect at each stage of development can help you assist your child in their best learning potential and manage behavioral concerns.

Parents can also find ways to positively communicate, discipline and problem solve with children of any age. Children need parents who are involved with their lives and education. The more parents know about supporting their child's early learning experiences, the better those experiences will be.
