The Action for Children Ambassador Program is a specialized volunteer program for raising awareness, advocacy and community engagement. Ambassadors become the volunteer voice of the agency and its mission, helping to describe Action for Children’s programs and services, e.g., helping parents become good consumers of child care; offering workshops, seminars and institutes for the child care and early learning workforce; providing parenting classes and workshops.

The benefits of becoming an AfC Ambassador include learning about the a successful and long-standing non-profit, Action for Children - past, present, and future, public speaking and advocacy experience, and certification showing the time and effort needed and given by AfC Ambassadors in learning and becoming a part of this program and of the central Ohio child care community.
